Pros

Friendly people to work with

Cons

Admin is awful. Trying to get my discount card in the year I was there was impossible! Applying for holiday was difficult. They never wanted to give you the days you wanted off! Even if you were entitled! Never wanted to give more hours unless very late shifts and at short notice. Management had no clue how to manage. Severely understaffed at times. Equipment always broken! In my entire year there (on checkouts), only 2 of the chairs out of about 15 worked! Most chairs were broken and I almost always went home with a bad neck and back. Intercoms on tills were broken, so always needed to shout down to people on 3 or 4 tills away just to get hold of a section leader if needed. Not enough training. Always made to feel terrible of asking for help!
