Home shopping is a joke!

Pros

There are literally no pro's that I can think of with this company, they take advantage of their staff when other supermarkets pay considerably more for the same job!

Cons

Daily arguments with the home shopping manager Delivery routes that make no sense, given 10 minutes to make a 12 miles trip during Friday rush hour traffic. Clueless pickers that make stupid substitutions Customer ordered Bonjella and was sent Robinson's juice?! Yet as the delivery driver, you have to deal with it and take the flack from the customer. Vans that are not road worthy and management who pressure you to drive them. Fridges and Freezers full of mould that is usually left for months. Loaders that "consolidate" totes to fit more onto the van making totes too heavy and drivers getting injured. HR/Management losing accident books when claims are put in due to staff negligence.

Pros

Simple work. Mostly nice people to work with and training is sufficient but not excellent. Simple enough recruitment process. Need to be better informed about taking right to work documents to first session. Quite good benefits if used like law club and simply health. DISCOUNT CARD!

Cons

Low pay. Working conditions not conducive to a happy workplace. Can be quite physical without much brainpower needed. Equipment and facilities tend to be poor in order to save costs. For example: shoddy delivery vans. No staff canteen apart from breakfast
