Pros

The managers are friendly and approachable, their is lots of emthisis on ethics at work and their are lots of fun activities to get involved in like staff parties and charity events

Cons

Progression seems almost impossible as their are so many people in the same boat and it seems like you have to be their for years to progress

Have to work weekends Being talked to like a piece of dirt Management have targets for sacking employees Expected to ignore health and safety regulations mainly regarding food chilling

Pros

Colleague discount, progression if you want it and flexible hours for students working at Asda part time. Uniform and on the job training provided.

Cons

The job can be quite labour intensive and sometimes you may have to deal with difficult customers. There is also competition for holiday dates.
