Pros

They offer a 10% discount after you've worked there for 3 months. Staff are nice and friendly. It's so easy, you hardly need to think about anything ( which is also kind of a con)

Cons

Pay is awful. £6.86 ph for the first half a year then £7.20 something. They will give you 3hrs45min contracted shifts. Then make you do the overtime, when they need you. They just don't want to have to pay your breaks, of if you get pregnant. If you don't take the overtime they get all weird and don't offer you anymore for ages. You have to find someone to cover your holiday. And it's impossible to get time off around Christmas. Queue clarity is just stupid.

Pros

You have your set hours every week, so you know when your working and not. Overtime is easy to come by and you can pick and choose what suits you. The staff discount is a great bonus.

Cons

When it is busy, there are less opportunities to do other tasks. The role can be a bit boring doing the same thing all the time. It would be good to have more opportunities to get off the till and do other things.

Pros

I am a very shy person, the one thing I do cherish that I have taken away from Asda is a built in my confidence. Others are usually very nice tome and help me out when I appear stuck. I have spoke and met people I would never have spoke to before aswell. Everyone works well together. I got the hours which suited my personal life // flexiable

Cons

I can be disheartened very easily and I find that customers can be cruel at times. This can really upset me hugely. Some other colleagues can be hurtful and look down on me. I was changed departments without being asked or consulted, I was simply told and I am not happy with my new hours.
