Pros

ASDA is a decent place to work if you’re looking for flexible hours and steady pay. The job itself is fairly straightforward, and most colleagues are friendly and supportive. Training is basic but enough to get you started, and staff discounts are a nice bonus.

Cons

Work can be very repetitive and physically demanding, especially during busy periods. Management quality really depends on the store — some managers are supportive, others can be disorganised. Staffing levels can be low, which increases workload and stress.

Pros

The people who work in the stores are generally great people, work hard and deserve more

Cons

The culture has become toxic, with more cuts all the time but more expectation. The experience has been gutted out of the company with inexperienced people over promoted to fill roles with unfair and unrealistic expectations
