Toxic culture

Pros

There are few positives remaining about working for this company

Cons

Zero autonomy, large workload with more and more wage cuts each year. I worked for this company for a long time and had aspirations to progress, but in recent years the environment has become unbearable. Managers are asked to do too much and pass this high volume down to team leaders. We used to have a team of colleagues to deliver night shift (and later twilight operation) but now a team half the size is expected to deliver the same standards in the same time. Asda keep reconfiguring hours and calling it ‘right place right time’ - the reality of this is putting any body in any role, with no regard for their strengths or skillset. Asda are notoriously bad for diversity and inclusion and have continuously disregarded colleagues that fall under these categories.
