Pros

Flexible hours, some great colleagues, ability to move between departments

Cons

Management have absolutely no clue how to run things and often sit in their 'ivory tower'. Expects complete loyalty from its colleagues and treats them like dirt in return. Sill work you to the bone and expect you to give up your break to get the work done. Managers will happily pass the blame when something goes wrong under their instruction and supervision. Disciplinary action over silly things.

Pros

Good Sense of Community between staff. Flexible working arrangements fitting in with study requirements. Approachable management for help with work related and non work related issues. Structured ways to progress within the company.

Cons

The progression from Sales Assistant to Section Leader comes with very little benefits (80p Wage increase / lots of responsibility). Some middle managers within stores can become too focused on their own departments performance rather than the overall success of the store.
