Pros

Discount, colleagues, local, nothing else.

Cons

Managers think they are gods, no people skills, poor delegation. Not the advancement opportunities they lead you to believe. System allows these management monkeys to not pay correctly.

Pros

Meeting & making friends with staff as well with the public, also getting a chance to pick up any bargains they had on offer plus getting 10% of anything that was on sale in the store.

Cons

It was hard work for the wages we earned as the store i worked in was the largest store in Britain so we had more work to do than the small stores yet we got the same amount of pay, some nights i had 16 pallets to work as smaller stores was lucky if the had 1 pallet. When we had workers from other stores to come & work at Livingston they said they would never come back because the work they were expected to do.
