Pros

ASDA is a part of Wall mart and you get big opportunity to build your career and find different fields in one place like Accounting HRM and Customer Service etc...

Cons

you create your own value by working hard otherwise you will stay as an employee for life.

No respect for the individual at all

Pros

Most colleagues are nice and helpful and really hard working. Recruitment process is easy. Employee discount is not bad. Salary higher than most supermarkets.

Cons

Everything you're told at the recruitment stage about values and the company being like a giant family... forget it. No respect for the individual, most managers and section leaders have no people skills at all. On a "positive" note you don't have to be competent to be promoted... On the contrary. Just do nothing but look really busy all the time and you're in the right path.
