Pros

Easy work, good training, 10% off discount card, store performance related bonus scheme, good people to work with

Cons

Career progression slow, with many people sitting at stepping stones level with very few management vacancies coming up. No sunday working supplement Above minimum wage pay - but still very low paid job I know many single mothers who have left their job to go onto benefits since they are financially better off

Boring, draining and unsociable.

Pros

Easy to learn the tasks and ways of work and good employee discount (10%). Fun can be had when working with employees and shift times can be ok.

Cons

Very boring and repetitive work, not a large enough money:work ratio, if caught speaking with employees you will be shouted at or asked why are you speaking? When all managers do is walk around and speak to people. Not a fun environment. Customers will get angry if you dont know where something is. Christmas time and easter sucks majorly.
