Pros

working nights, stacking shelves, you get left alone for most of the night, so you can go at your own pace, pretty much. 10% discount on everything, doesn't sound much, but we all have to eat, so the savings soon add up. Staff are friendly there, we're all in the same boat, it's not the greatest job in the world, we know that, but at least it's a jon, right. Oh, we're first to find the bargains in the store, soon as any promotion on food prices comes up, we know about it! And thursday and friday nights, when we're open 24 hours, and the young ladies come in for munchies or more alcohol after the pubs/clubs have shut brighten up our night!

Cons

Boring, repetitvie job, stacking shelves, brain-dead work, and nights are killer's, sometimes, particularly when it's busy, with no support from Management. Talking of Management, some are ok, and work hard, but some just turn up, sit in the office all night, then walk around an hour before the end of your shift to try to get everyone to hurry up and tidy up. We have stupid huddles(10 minute information meetings) every night, in front of the shoppers(great idea, that!) where the Management tell us about sales, what departments are up/down from previous year, like we care, we just wannt to get the job done, and go home.
