Pros

Discount, vacation, salary higher than competitors, better schedule when seniority kicks in.

Cons

Directv. It has ruined this company. It’s not about the customer anymore or really finding needs, the need is directv no matter what. No promotions, or competitive offers, when there are, they’re usually tied to directv. Encouraged to utilize questionable practices just to close directv sales. Usually the directv sale never even installs. Outdated, and often unfair observation practices. Union rarely gets anything accomplished, seems more like propaganda than actually working for employees. Often when you have an issue, you have to contact external departments, where the employees there are so incompetent, you often have to call multiple times. I’ve had to talk to 8 different people to resolve issues before. Customer service straight up lies to people, and we are often left dealing with issues rather than selling like we’re paid to do.

Pros

Its all about being one of the good old boys. If your related to someone high up you have a job, and will be moved proactively to avoid elimination this is not a career I repeat this is not a career. Healthcare was great now its just ok.

Cons

71% commission cuts. Toxic managers. Violence in the workplace. High stress sales. Horrible up-sale products. Union that does absolutely nothing for you except take dues. Corporate employees consistently name drop bulling reps. Managers will never defend.
