Pros

The brand, coworkers, pay, and discounts.

Cons

There are so many levels to this company that it is sickening. Maybe I'm just used to working in an open door environment but there's just too many people to go through to get something done. On top of all that mess there is about a million systems that you have to learn how to navigate. As such an innovative company I feel they should have a better way of streamlining all of these systems. AT&T is big on diversity but as a person of color, I did tend to be "picked" on a lot. If it was just me I'd leave at that but this is incorporating reviews that I've gotten from coworkers who were there before me. Overall it was a really stressful environment but not because of the workload, more so the expectations they had of a black employee. If your too quiet, your angry, if your too loud, your "typical". It's hard to find a balance when the cards are stacked against you.

Pros

The benefits are fantastic - both product discounts and healthcare. The pay is decent unless you are in a non-customer facing or support job.

Cons

Constant purchasing of other companies creates a never-ending cycle of layoffs and "surplus." Those of us with more than 15 years service were the first to go, regardless of position or performance. If you are over 40, don't bother.

Thank you for recognizing the great benefits and pay we have to offer. Due to constant changes in the industry and technology, we sometimes have to restructure to remain competitive and meet the needs of the business. When this happens, we do our best to offer our employees as many options as we can to help them find other positions within and outside the company. We truly care about all of our employees and appreciate your feedback.
