      Pros

      Some really good people that want to do the right thing.

      Cons

      All managers care bout is meeting milestones and metrics at the expense of patients/ patient safety and also at the expense of regulatory compliance. If you have options and care about patients and not being retaliated for doing the right thing, don’t work for Abbvie.

      Pros

      I have met and worked with some of the highest-caliber sales representatives that I have ever worked with in a long career in sales. Many amazing dedicated and talented people.

      Cons

      The culture has changed over the last few years. When I first joined Abbvie I was struck by how the company felt like a large family, very cohesive and patient-focused. These days the management seems so much separate from the sales force. They do not listen to feedback from those out in the field. We are only a number to them and that is all they seem to care about anymore. They have lost many talented and dedicated employees. Many have just recently been laid off and morale is often low which has not been the case a few years ago.

      GMCO Global Marketing and Commercial Operations in general is a very positive organization for which to work; Global HR team is very easy to work with and are well -trained professionals Director of PA/TA Learning Team is one of the Best leaders for your development!

      Cons

      Little room for career advancement here; Disorganized leadership in Global Oncology; Cutthroat and unhealthily busy work environment on Global Marketing teams; Abbvie in general has WAY TOO MANY processes and layers, and everything takes much longer to execute than at other pharma companies
