Pros

Great pipeline to be passionate to work for. Good enough benefits (not the best in industry).

Cons

The company is getting too big from acquiring so many new compounds, and does not take care of the employees working on older (not-blockbuster) compounds. The culture is just not the same, everyone is way overworked and underpaid and underappreciated.

AbbVie routinely cuts older workers before they can truly benefit from their benefit packages, destroying their retirement plans.

Pros

Coworkers are hardworking and caring. Work very hard, excellent rewards for doing so. Most areas are exemplary and would highly recommend.

Cons

Leaders are often so wrapped up in gaining notoriety that they make poor strategic decisions. Stay away from certain Operations groups. Also, often leaders are awarded for what their teams have accomplished without taking into consideration how they got there. Abuse, nepotism, unfairness.
