Cons

Management is abysmal! There is no buffer or protection from project owners No direction, training or assistance provided to be able to perform essential parts of your job. They have barely any process and procedure and if they do they never adhere to it. No backup is provided despite tremendous workloads and ridiculous timelines, you are all on your own! Pay rate is laughable

Lots of scienitific and cross-functional resources for high-profile programs. Good culture and work balance. Management has a desire to focus on career development of the staff.

Cons

Decision making tend to be slow and inefficient. Some teams are in old-school, big pharma mentality and lack true innovation. Paid in Bay Area is below market standard, which results in poor staff retention.

You feel like you’re working for a higher purpose.

Cons

This company has an extreme issue with people that have disabilities. I was forced to disclose my dyslexia when I worked here. After I disclosed my dyslexia I was repeatedly written up and then separated from the company a year after disclosure. If you want to work here and you have one of these disabilities, get everything in writing and make sure everyone is level set on what you are capable of.
