Abysmal culture of bullying, nepotism and dysfunction. Worst job I've had, there was a culture of hiding the truth under the rug.

Toxic work environment, it is very hierarchical with a general sense of in-group vs out-group dynamic. Everything is about "optics" or how things may look so the opposite of a meritocracy. Because of these the work ethic is lacking. Promotions are based on sucking up to the person above you in the hierarchy. AVOID it at all costs.
