Pros

They attract u with salary but its totally a disater to start ur cateer with Accenture. Once u on board u ll be in training for 2 months and after that u will be put into project but 6 months from then u will be free u will not be given any work, h just have to simply come and go also they will approve ur leaves even if its 10 days.. After these six months u wont be active (physically and mentally ) as before u will be used to getting good salary without any efforts l, and now u will be inside project they will not give u any leaves, work for them forever will fire u if u talk against. And now u ll be in a position where you realize that u have wasted 8 mnths of ur life and u will have forgotten everything u learnt and u dont want to continue with the company anymore but u will also not have much knowledge or confidence to switch companies. Finally for the money that he gives u will become his slave forever.

Cons

They tell that they wont give shifts for girls but its totally a lie. Once u get into the company u will be their slave and do what they aak u to. If u r a fresher One year you will be in probation period and u dont habe any rights to speak up to them. They can fire you right away. First 21 months (if u r in level 12) u should do only as they ask u to, u will have to come in shifts work 10hours a day etc etc.. Yoy can never speak against, if u do so they will ask u to resign. They donot value ppl. They treat u like slaves. Once u r in u cannot live a peaceful life at all. Think thrice before choosing this company especially girls. Once u r in u r trapped the only way out is resignation. They will show off with their huge buildings and salary only but u will forget ur dignity.

Pros

Can not think of a single one.

Cons

Brutal to people. Could care less about the employees, really. "Values" are not worth the paper. Kill you with 80-100 hour weeks, then drag you in off vacation for URGENT things that are not even used. Talk is great when recruiting, then the job you end up with is not what was promised, below what you are capable of, with a supervisor who's less experienced than you are. Nothing in the firm is well funded, so it's a brutal game to get what you need to get your basic business done. Meanwhile your career counselor just points you at the stock price. Boys club extra-ordinaire and they don't even bother to hide it. If you are not on the A-list you are a perpetual outsider until you get tired and leave, at which point they sic external counsel on the basis of non-compete only to harrass you and your future employer.

It Probably Can't Get Any Worse Than This

Pros

Great benefits, probably one of the best in the industry. Big name to improve your CV

Cons

(Accenture Newspage) Very bad project management. Expect long hours daily and during public holidays and weekends. Work/life balance is little to none. System is a total mess. Bugs and performance issues everywhere. New features are added every year (thus causing more bugs to be added to existing ones) Promotion will depends on whether you got the attention of the big bosses or not Very low annual increment. It's so low that you would not believe it's coming from a global MNC. Using in-house framework thus you get no help outside. limited exposure to other technologies. You are expected to know everything. For a technical person, you are expected to do server setup, DB Administration, coding, dealing with customers, explaining functional items to customers, and even creating design specifications and test cases (Technical + Functional + Project Management + Tester) Some Project Managers doesnt even know the functional part of the products. Stress level is super high so make sure you have good stress management skills. Management team does not demonstrate leadership skills and doesnt really know how to grow their underhands. The only good point here is that if you can survive here then you can do so any where else. No appreciation for lower level employees. Credits all goes to Manager and above.
