Pros

-many things to learn -transport allowance -lifestyle allowance more flexible than flexi points

Cons

-No 13 month -although you have many things to learn, ALL THE TIME, you are force to learn these skills on your own. NO DEDICATED training of whatsoever. Mangers will upsell you to the clients (say you are a pro even though you just pick it up last week etc.) -Analyst are like dust, if you are not up for the job, they can replace you anytime -All managers care about are sales (and most of them cant code but expect you to know how to, else you are useless [in tech]) -No preference of the projects you want to be staff in (ie. they throw you where they need ppl and expect you to pick up whatever knowledge that is required) -needless to say, looonnngggg working hours -All in all no company culture. you are there just to be useful.

Pros

Its Brand value- Using this they play with employees career

Cons

10 hours shift- But you have to update only 9 hours in the time sheet 3 months notice period - No other company will give this much time to join their organisation Above two are mandatory for Accenture so they make sure Employee will not leave their organisation No Growth Management does not care for career growth of employees, you have to take what is given

Pros

A LOT of diversity. Most of the people in my office are from India and the Philippines. 90% visa workers and about 10 % citizen workers.

Cons

Very cheap company. Pay is TERRIBLE. Sr software engineers make around 65k here as opposed to ~100k at any other company. The bench: if you are not on a project, then you are put on the bench. If you are on the bench for too long, you will get released from the company. Also, you do NOT get to choose your projects. This means if you are pursuing let's say web development and there is a role that opens up for a documentation writer, you will get stuffed into that role. Now let's say a web development role opens up a week after you join your documentation role, can you make the switch? Nope! Accenture will not allow that until your role/contract is up with the documentation position. Basically Accenture does not care about what you want to do with your career and how you want to build your resume. I know software engineers that got stuck in tech support roles for over a year. Huge waste of time. That does nothing for your resume. Stay away from this company as you will inevitably get stuffed into 1-dimensional, stagnant positions. A lot of my coworkers are trying to leave the company. The attrition rate at this company is also very poor.
