Pros

work from home is available.

Cons

Radom Stream allotment will destrog your career and future goals! As a recent graduate at Accenture, I've experienced the unpredictable nature of stream assignments firsthand. Streams are allocated randomly, regardless of educational background. For instance, civil or instrument students might end up in roles like Java or Cloud, while CS and IT graduates could find themselves in Finance, Sales, R&D, or SAP MM. This random allocation can significantly impact one's career trajectory. Despite holding a B.Tech IT degree, I found myself placed in the SAP Finance stream, where tasks are predominantly commerce-oriented. Even my teammates come from commerce backgrounds. It's been nearly a year at Accenture, yet I haven't had the chance to write a single line of code from past 1 year. Instead, I've been engrossed in testing finance and commerce projects, which feels like a waste of time. I've repeatedly expressed my desire to focus on development roles and coding tasks, given my technical background. However, the response I received was disappointing. I was told that being a B.Tech graduate doesn't necessarily mean I'll be assigned coding-related work exclusively. I'm expected to continue working in finance, which involves tasks like checking and testing balance sheets, GL accounts, and incentives – tasks that are far removed from my educational background. This situation has been frustrating. Despite my technical background, I'm confined to non-technical tasks. I long for roles that allow me to utilize my skills effectively and provide opportunities for growth in line with my educational qualifications.

Pros

Stable revenue, great learning environment where it's okay to make mistakes and grow, supportive managers who encourage progress, lots of learning resources on the company portal, plus help with financing outside studies. This company really looks out for its employees; it's tough to lose your job with a permanent contract.

Cons

Employees don't feel compansate for their efforts, there is no motivation to do better as it does not bring you anything, and nothing happens to the ones that do not perform. As a manager, there is very poor HR support, no action are taken to fix issues. Task distribution can be unfair when some people on the same team could have nothing to do, others can feel overwhelmed.

Pros

At this specific location: • Free meals, snacks, drinks

Cons

I was hired onto this role as a content Review Associate dealing primarily with ban appeals, while being told there would be the occasional workload in "disturbing material" review, an hour a day at most. This was the case for a few months, and then the scale started to shift, and it went from 95% ban appeals and 5% content review, to 99% disturbing content, and 1% ban appeals. A counter to this was "free therapy services", but for me, this translated into a scheduled once a month discussion with a counselor. However, over the course of a year I only met with them one time, despite my attempts to schedule.
