Pros

Interesting products, reasonable work-life balance, and they are trying do innovate and move beyond their core products. Good relative salaries. Macromedia aquisition helped to dilute the stifling old-boys club.

Cons

You need to be in the club - this is no meritocracy - it's an old-boys club. Thus if you aren't in this club - and it take years to be included - you will suffer an extremely slow path of development and promotion. If rapid growth is important to you, then you'll need to look elsewhere. Unfortunately a fair number of members of the 'club' have been at Adobe for a decade (or more), and they seem to feel like there is some time-based 'dues' that need to be paid. If you are a woman, it is also more difficult to get past Director level. There are very few that actually own product/revenue.

Pros

The pay and benefits and that is it.

Cons

I have never worked anywhere that cared less about the humanity of its employees. Perhaps this is standard for tech - but the way I've been treated makes me feel like they are either looking for an excuse to fire me or want me to quit, and I've been here less than a year. Everyone is paranoid and gatekeeps information so they feel job security but then lashes out when you don't know enough to help them. This company needs to change everything if it wants to survive.

Pros

Good benefits, health plan, offices, good food, friendly people.

Cons

the most hierarchical company I have ever worked for. You will only progress or change department if you are friends with senior leaders. The HR does not help, they recruit internally run long processes and cancel half way through because of changes. the CEO has never been to the new offices, Recruitment is not based on ability, but on networking mainly.
