Pros

Lot of good people around. Compensation is good.

Cons

Technologically skewed. There is no work from home - a rather absurd focus on time spent in the office.

Pros

Although a relatively large company, Adobe has always thought of itself as a BIG company. This does have its advantages: - Competitive salaries, great benefits, stock - Support of charitable giving and activities - Resources, opportunities

Cons

However, operating as a "BIG" company also has its drawbacks: - Bureaucratic - Slow-moving - Tentative - Rewards longevity rather than innovation - Annual Christmas purge (layoffs)

Good company to work for, but not without some serious issues

Pros

Very competitive pay structures, stock grants for high performing employees, pretty good corporate culture, reasonable efforts to be a good corporate citizen.

Cons

A lot of work is spread across a lot of geographies. For managers and many employees this results in horrible work/life balance due to late evening/early-morning meetings and a lot of unnecessary travel. "Netflix-style" vacation policy can easily lead to having zero vacation if you aren't conscientious about taking your vacation. Years of shifting corporate strategies leads to lots of mis-steps and half-efforts which then result in layoffs that are still quite frequent. If you are a strong performer and are relatively attuned to corporate politics and you work in San Francisco, San Jose or Noida, you can do quite well there, but if you are in one of the many satellite offices or get stuck onto a doomed project, you are continually in fear of the fall layoffs as the company closes up projects in advance of the start of the fiscal year.
