      Challenging in almost every way, but overall a great job with incredible benefits

      Pros

      Benefits, especially if you have children Vacation and personal time Flexibility Intellectually stimulating Eclectic cultural mix Good communication Coworkers are great, lots of teamwork

      Cons

      Sometimes management can seem erratic, and in my experience, upper management plays favorites. Senior management...I'm not sure what senior management is doing in my area. I haven't seen a lot of positive input from "up there," while a lot of chaos is ignored, to the detriment of morale.

      Pros

      You often get to work with people from around the world, and people are generally pretty cosmopolitan as they travel a lot (or used to).

      Cons

      Older workforce counting days to retirement; lots of legacy jobs with an uncertain future. Every year the company seems to cut and retract in some areas and grow in completely different areas. So if you're in the legacy business it isn't much fun.

      Pros

      + Used to have work life balance though it is a lot reduced now + Ability to seek internal transfers across the globe

      Cons

      - This company asked some of the employees to take pay cut during COVID era and many employees did. Fas forward 5 years, the company started doing well financially. Employees who took pay cut got nothing. - Most of the jobs are being moved from North America/France to lower cost destinations like Columbia, India, Eastern Europe - Work is mediocre and there is absolutely no growth. The company is being treated as cash cow by C-Suite and investment funds which directly translates to cutting costs, taking more debt and no innovation. A very slow and painful death!
