Pros

You can lead, propose, change whatever you want if you have enough data. Too many things to learn (for me is a Pro and Con at the same time). Good benefits and salary They really care about your growth and managers are evaluated based on your growth. Several opportunities around the world.

Cons

Sometimes there's a lot of ambiguity. Role is too specific and there is few space to do things outside your role (unless you want a bad performance review or you are a super human). As Amazon is a huge company, sometimes getting HR help or other could be complicated (to locate the right person). Remote locations could be different from Headquarters in terms of resources, equipment and opportunities.

Pros

It’s amazing to work with world-class engineers on problems that challenging in technical scope and scale, and delivering these improvements always feels super rewarding.

Cons

I wish there was a bigger push from upper manager to lower for experimenting non radically innovative stuff. It’s easier to do this in other orgs, but in retail it’s very difficult to follow up on a crazy idea and make it a reality, because of constant pushes from product.
