Pros

Good pay. good growth in some orgs

Cons

Toxic culture, you won't trust anyone as everyone is ready to backstab. Workload is way too much even at sde1 level, and even after putting in 60-70 hours a week continuously and close to 100 on releases, you could be called out for "not working hard enough". People will play politics using "leadership principles" Little diversity, gender ratio is heavily skewed Pipping culture is the backbone of the organisation, it's not just something to get rid of bad talent but inherent to the way the system is supposed to function. Thus, placing you and your teammates in direct cut throat competition, a corporate version of hunger games to be precise
