Pros

They're close to public transit and restaurants. They have great name recognition

Cons

The pay is pretty low. Hours are long and you're not given the recognition that you've done something amazing. Amazon feels a lot like a retail store. High turn over low morale

Pros

A good place to learn cloud computing and distributed systems. You can learn a lot from your peers.

Cons

Terrible work-life-balance. No one likes on call. Seattle always rains.
