Pros

Work cultured is over-hyped, but its not that bad. They were very understanding and allowed you to work from home a lot.

Cons

You get to do pager duty. Initially they expect you to be on-call during vacations, etc. Amazon doesn't have vacations for Thanksgiving or New years.

Pros

I work on the Amazon Retail Website. Get to work on a wide spectrum of issues. Generally receive praise for good work.

Cons

Expected to take part in an oncall cycle, whereby you can be paged to sign in and address an issue 24/7 for two weeks at a time (on most teams).
