It’s encouraging to hear you’ve found Arm’s culture welcoming and that your work feels meaningful from the start. Creating opportunities for graduates to make an impact early in their careers is something we value highly, and it’s great to know that’s been your experience in Cambridge. We also recognise how important the social side of work can be for building strong connections. If you’d like to see more happening locally, I’d recommend getting in touch with your site’s Social Committee or the Early Careers team, they’re always keen to support new ideas that bring people together.

Pros

- The working environment is generally great. Everybody is very friendly and helpful, the offices are nice and well managed, and I've never had an issue in this area. - The work itself is interesting and varied, and I feel like I'm generally contributing towards tech that's actually helpful - The pay and other benefits/compensation are very good - The company itself seems to be doing well and the job seems quite stable

Cons

- Fully remote working is basically never allowed unless you have a health problem or similar reason, even when it realistically could be done without issue. You can usually work remote a lot of the time, but there's a minimum in-office requirement.

Appreciate you sharing such a thoughtful view of your first year. It’s encouraging that you’ve found the work engaging, the culture supportive, and the rewards strong. The balance between flexibility and in-person connection is something we think about carefully, as collaboration is key to how we innovate and scale impact. Still, we understand the value of broader flexibility and continue to assess how hybrid working can best evolve. Your feedback helps shape those discussions, so thank you for taking the time to share it.

Great to see your feedback from San Diego. It’s encouraging that you highlight the combination of competitive pay and strong teams, both are central to how people are rewarded and supported at Arm. The work can be demanding at times, especially in a business that moves as quickly as ours, but balance and access to support are always important. If the hours ever feel unsustainable, please raise it with your manager or a member of the People team so the right adjustments can be made.
