      Pros

      - great people in compiler team - interesting, challenging work but realistic and not stressful - good compensation (sabbatical every 4 years) - very quiet office to concentrate - great food, eat your lunch on the rooftop - good comms about company's plans

      Cons

      - future plans are ambitious and not everyone is convinced

      It's been a great 18 months

      Pros

      My team is friendly and supportive, and at least where I am in the company the work culture is great. Good work/life balance, flexible WFH, etc. I've had the opportunity to work on genuinely interesting problems, learn a lot about system-level computer architecture, and how to write performant simulation software in C++.

      Cons

      Office location isn't the best, but there is a shuttle bus from Cambridge station.
