      unequal pay between engineers and rest of the organisation.

      Pros

      great culture, smart people, great products, a great place to learn.

      Cons

      recent salary review took engineering 30-40% above from other people contributing to the company. It creates an unfair approach especially if people move from engineering to other roles. I am sure many engineers deserve higher salaries and many don't! so it was not a wise decision to do this without considering the point I am making above.

      Pros

      Good compensation. People tend to leave mostly for FAANG-like companies. A lot of opportunities for growth. You get to interact with smart engineers both within and outside the company. Work-life balance.

      Cons

      My Tech Lead was also my Line Manager. This leads to "my way or no way scenarios". Poor communication. The work culture varies widely between teams.

      That's Ok, but could be better

      Pros

      Great for flexibility. Easy to change teams to some extend. Access to some training.

      Cons

      Lots of process and hierarchy, management is slow. OSS group does not innovate. Depending on the team, you have no career opportunity. Food canteen is not great. Training are not always available. Communication between team and management.
