      Good Work life balance with poor salary

      I am working in Senior verification engineer in ATG team -> Good Work Life Balance till date Not sure about future as it is acquired by softbank -> Good People to work with -> Very good learning in initial days

      Cons

      ->Very Low pay compare to market. ->I am working in ARM from last 7 years. After some year work is repetitive and boring. ->No facilities. No transport service, Worst food.

      Thanks for leaving a review! First, I want to to thank you for over 7 years of service at the ARM Bangalore office! That means you've been a part of ARM for over a quarter of our existence as a company! An excellent work/life balance at ARM is something we encourage all employees to strive towards, and will continue to do so, even post-Softbank acquisition. As mentioned in other reviews, the base salary is usually in the 75% band, meaning you can expect to make more than 75% of your peers in the industry and region. Once you factor in other benefits such as the annual bonus and the now former RSU program, the total rewards package is quite competitive. If you feel like the work has become repetitive and boring, please do visit the Internal Jobs board to see what roles you might want to explore, and at the very least, visit the ARM Talent Development Intranet page to see how we might be able to help improve your skill sets to advance your career!       Interesting work

      Pros

      There is a lot of very interesting work happening here. The compensation is decent, and Cambridge allows a good lifestyle.

      Cons

      The company is growing, but still rather small. While decent, the compensation feels weak compared to other international opportunities.

      Disappointed with the work culture

      Pros

      Not much. Average work. No work for intelligent people. They have created a new software design methodology, popularly known as Hit-n-trial methodology.

      Cons

      Work is monotonous and doesn't involve any intellect. New managers know this, so they are impose all work to sub-ordinates and enjoy whole day of facebook, and other personal businesses.

If you feel that your current work is not challenging, I would ask that you speak to your line manager to see what other projects that you help out with. If you do not feel comfortable speaking with your line manager, please reach out to your HR business partner, who can also help address your concerns. Unless you speak up and let us know of issues, we won't know what is going on besides reading these reviews. We also have the ARM Employee Survey being sent out in the next few weeks, so please keep a lookout for that, so you can voice your concerns there.
