Pros

Really at the heart of the high-tech industry. Challenging work. Good location. Good benefits package and incentive schemes. Good parties. Collegiate, low-stress atmosphere

Cons

Onerous management review and development system. Could make more money working elsewhere: pay is not adjusted according to local living expenses.

Thanks for leaving a review! We love to challenge our employees, as well as make sure are well rested to take on the challenge of the industry. As far adjustment for local living expenses, this has been noted by many others regarding Cambridge, and sadly a factor outside our control. However, compensation across all regions/teams is being reviewed by the Rewards team, and they will make adjustments where necessary once completed. We have the ARM 25th Anniversary Festival coming up, so make sure to join for the celebration in Cambridge, look for more information from the Internal Communications team! -Rick C. Pros

Excellent benefits, healthcare, time-off, work-life balance, annual bonus, company stock, sabbatical

Cons

Conservative management, company is very risk-averse, new technology is not easily embraced. ARM is primarily a hardware company and isn't particularly good at managing software products.

Pros

Brilliant staff. Plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.

Cons

Struggling with growth. A lot of position churn makes it difficult to plan projects and communicate effectively. Many projects understaffed in order to balance growth vs revenue which is understandable but stressful and limiting company performance.

Thanks for leaving a review! Even though we're growing at a rapid pace, we're not immune to growing pains. Balancing growth vs revenue like you said is a necessary though we try to limit doing so as much as possible. A challenge is changing the mindset of software candidates in the industry is more than just a hardware company, when in reality, we are about 50% software now! That being said, every company has attrition, though we are quite proud our attrition rate is one of the lowest in the tech industry! -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager
