Thanks for leaving a review! Work experience at ARM, especially as a graduate engineer, means you get really hands on and will be exposed to so much that you may feel overwhelmed at times. Regarding salary, our Rewards team have been reviewing compensation across all levels and regions. Once completed, we will adjust salaries as needed for each person based on skill level/location/market value. -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager

Pros

The people I work with are friendly and intelegent. Co-workers are willing to help eachother other out which represents ARM win-win attitude.

Cons

It is easy to have a narrow focus and not be aware of what the company as a whole is doing, but the all the needed resources are available. In my particular group there is a very steep learning curve which translates into a long startup phase.

Thanks for leaving a review! The core of any company is the people, and we have a very open and willing to assist work culture. It's easy to put on blinders and to focus on solely on the project, so make sure to take a step back and interact with people outside your team, especially during lunch. Who knows, you might find you really like another team in your graduate rotation! We always love to hear feedback on ways we can improve the onboarding/induction process, so please pass on any feedback you have to the HR team! -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager

The best place to start your career

Pros

There is no doubt you'll be given real accountability in your role, and for that reason there are also plenty of opportunities to be creative. There are always opportunities to develop too, whether that be in project work, role rotations or general day to day experiences when mingling with some of the experts in the field. ARM is not the kind of place where you will be spoon fed training programmes or classes - you are expected to go after and seek out opportunities which means you're working with really motivated and talented people day in day out.

Cons

There arent really any cons except bonus payments seem to have reduced in recent years.

Thanks for leaving a review! We hire with the expectation that employees contribute fairly early on in their role, but also gives them the opportunity to develop like you mention. Career development is a major focus to keep everyone from our engineers to HR staff the ability to work on something that really interests them, part of the reason we have such low attrition rates! As for the bonus, we didn't hit our 10% bonus as in years past, but a 5% bonus is still quite nice given our stretch goals! Hopefully this year we'll be able to make our numbers! -Rick C.
