Pros

Flexible work hours On-site gym at Cambridge Good work-life balance

Cons

Pay can be higher, especially given the house prices and rental prices in Cambridge. Finding a parking space is a problem at the main campus.

Thanks for leaving a review! We pride ourselves on having a fantastic work-life balance, being flexible with time and placing trust in our employees to get the job done. Housing and rental prices are unfortunatenly items out of our control, though we do offer a competitive salary compared to other companies in Cambridge. As for parking, hopefully this will be resolved once the new campus is completed, though that will not be until sometime in 2017. You can also look into the ride-sharing option with other ARM colleagues that can also help you save some money on petrol! -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager

Pros

If its processor divisio- great!

Cons

If its PDG-forget any joining this co. Since this division is not the majority revenue garner, salaries paid are much lesser as compared to processor division. Do not ever join Test group or testchip team if you like work life balance. No work from home option. Management will very conveniently put blame on employees in case of any issue in product.

Thanks for leaving a review. All of our divisions have their pros and cons though salaries are not one of them. Salaries on average in the India PDG engineering group are the same as other groups though there will always be differences between the salaries of individuals at any level and in any group. A work from home option is up to your individual line manager, though most are generally flexible on this regard. I would encourage you to utilize the new AFDS system for more frequent feedback with your line manager, as improved communication may help with some of the issues you are experiencing. If you do have additional feedback, please do not hesitate to reach out to your HR Business Partner. Our goal is to make the work environment one that you are proud to come in to work for and are happy in doing. -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager.

Thanks for leaving a review! Another review also mentioned the great, brilliant people in every region, as well as the benefits. In comparing our reviews to our competition, work-life balance is listed in the "pro" category for every company, but also in the "con" category....except ARM! As mentioned in other responses, we've grown rapidly and some of our processes have not scaled to match the speed that we now need to operate at. Our Organizational Effectiveness team is addressing a lot of the feedback we have received though there is still work to be done. -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager
