      I really like my job at ARM

      Pros

      - My work is challenging but interesting. - Awesome new benefits package which gives £4.5k a year to spend on activities, health, and development. I claimed my entire sum to contribute to the deposit on my first home. - The people I work with are good fun and not overly political.

      Cons

      - Inflexibility in the older staff, it's a shame to see good ideas wasted. - Over worked middle management. For the past year or so my middle managers have been processing amazing amounts of information, and one of them has already burnt out. It was a shame to lose her as she was a great manager.

      The best place to work for engineers. There are new challenges all the time.

      Slow growth in salaries once inside the company. Trondheim can be remote for many people.

      Freedom is the best

      Pros

      I'm here for about 10 months. The atomsphere in the company is really great. I see everybody keen to help each other and lots of new cool technology stuff every day. There are lots of internal training opportunities and a whole bunch of internal sessions to about new technologies being developed.

      Cons

      None critical at the moment. Just problems that every big company has: IT not very efficient and stuff like that.
