      Pros

      I work as a PhD experimental scientist in a biology department at the very start of the drug discovery and development process. The work is varied and the experimental questions are very interesting. There is reasonable access to high-end equipment, The staff is very global and the working language is english. There are currnetly, good opportunities for publishing, if you regard that as a plus.

      Cons

      The work is very intense, with little opportunity for internal promotion and very little talent management. The working environment is uninspiring. IT support is extremely ineffective for work that requires more complex computational resources.
