Working on things that matter in real-life Good incentives for hard-work Great working environment with a generous vacation policy (37+ days)

Cons

Paid less compared to IT jobs (still very good for the pharmaceutical/health industry) Promotion could be difficult due to politics (have some colleagues who worked for 15 years in basically the same role) Gothenburg is a bit boring.

They trained me properly at orientation, and when I first arrived in the job. Treated me like a human. Listed to me. Offered help even when I wasnt asking for help. Friendly, mellow co-workers.

Cons

They fired me when I told them my mom died. I asked for time off work, my supervisor said "SURE, no problem! You take as much time as you need. You're a contractor so it doesn't matter anyway, you won't be getting paid." Then after a short while I get a mass email saying I've been fired. They didnt even fire me by email. They told the department I was fired, via email. No one called or emailed me directly. Since I was still hurting I didnt put up a fight. Turned over my badge and my work laptop. No one called.
