My experience at AstraZeneca was marked by a deeply toxic management style. Leadership fostered an environment where favoritism, retaliation, and gaslighting were normalized. Concerns raised through proper channels were either ignored or met with subtle forms of punishment. There were instances where treatment of employees appeared to cross legal and ethical boundaries, particularly regarding workplace harassment and accommodation practices. Despite publicly championing innovation and technological advancement, the internal culture stifled creativity and open dialogue. Fear and control often took precedence over collaboration, and constructive feedback was routinely dismissed or met with resistance.
