Work/life balance ok, but not the firm if you are a career person.

You get a lot of responsibilities.

Cons

It is difficult to move up the ladder (no support from HR and very little from management), so you need to do everything yourself. Salary wise, it is not the best employer. You should not work for Atlas Copco if salary is important to you. Also, almost everyone gets paid the same, irrespective of the hours/work you put in (typical Scandinavian company)

good products, good marketing, good sales tools

Cons

Injected management with European transplants, have lost recognizing all the great people who have built their position in the US. Moving up has become very political and not performance based. Lost their way in the US.
