      Pros

      Hard to get fired. Latest technologies. If you're unskilled and rely heavily on networking/talking to survive professionally, this is a good place.

      Cons

      Light on the software development. No respect for skill. Rampant conflicts of interest, and unfair leveling and promotion schemes.

      Work with lots of smart and technical people around the globe. Good training opportunities for the cutting-edge Microsoft-based technology Various project assignments help building us one's experience really quickly. Large internal community to help when facing technical challenges.

      Cons

      Often have to work with Accenture people, who treat Avanade people as less than equal. In order to make Director, one has to show business value, which means selling projects to the clients.
