Great place to start out and get solid skills, no long term plan

- Great training opportunities - If you are on a good project team things generally go very well - It's consulting so you get to challenge yourself at every engagement - Access to really smart people - Avanade has some of the smartest people you will ever work with when it comes to Microsoft products

Cons

- If you are not on a high-visibility project, your left to rot - Raises are minimal at best - Its who you know helps getting promoted atmosphere

Good benefits If you have a good career manager, you will be happy Some fun work events Opportunities to learn more about Microsoft technologies

Cons

Mainly male upper mgmt Hard to get promoted Sometimes the life/work balance is tough Not enough important senior level communication to the company wide Laying off the best people to better upper mgmt bonuses People were happier years back under the old executive team
