Great place to work by all means. Growth, opportunities, training....etc are all good. Also the people are nice and they care about you as an employee
Cons
pay for what you do and how much Avanade makes is very dissatisfying. You work your butt off to try to stay current and viable in a changing world. You travel and sacrifice family time - travel 80%. You are on projects and work toward getting certified in .net.............etc. Hard work should be compensated and that is just not the case here at Avanade. Pay should be much better, but it's not. don't get me wrong, I got lots of raises in the past three years, but they were average raises. For the job we do here we should be paid better. Avandae is one of the most expensive consulting companies around!! Avanade is very successful! why not pass the money to your employees and keep them happy? I have heard it from one of the HR people themselves one time, it's a fact that most people at Avanade are paid below the specified average they have set for their employees. for example, average set for a consultant level is 75000, most consultants would be under that amount.
