      Great place for single technology workers that love travel.

      Pros

      The opportunities to learn new technologies and working in different teams was unsurpassed in my market. They worked with me when I fell ill and couldn't work. Human Resources was one of the best I've dealt with.

      Cons

      There were too many hours without a lot of explanation. The line management and project managers closest to the client were extremely poor, especially at handling people. There was a LOT of travel.

      Pros

      Constant challenges of being a rapid growth company. upon eaching a billion dollars in less than 10 years with a global footprint, there are still many mountains to climb an dragons to slay. Avanade is not for employees wo want to come in day 1 and sill be doing the same job at day 365. With so much work there is rarely a job that an employee should feel is beneath them.

      Cons

      Balancing work and life. Some believe Avanade is a life ambition rather than a career. Thoe that enjoy coaching baseball practice or whatever should be very clear about set boundaries and never compromising them because Avanade will test them at every opportunity.
