Accenture is absorbing more and more of Avanade. What made Avanade a great place to work is being quickly lost and people are leaving in droves.
Chasing certifications at all costs rather than actual knowledge means projects would be staffed with ill equipped teams and false SME's who had dumped a bunch of exams.
It can be very much "who you know" rather than what you can do or have done, with people rising up rapidly through knowing and aligning with the right people.
Being on the right client is what sets the career path, not really the work you do.
