      Working quality is based on your placed client/project

      Pros

      If you get good and rewarding client/project, you will enjoy your work here. Some client or Avanade's client management have work life balance, allowance, interesting technology used in project and good leadership. However still you can't stay in a client more than 2 years. Usually a project will end within months and after that you'll get transfer to another client and project.

      Cons

      Get assign to which client is never a choice. It assigned to you by the management and you'll have to follow, no choice. If you get bad client/project, you're life will be like hell. Some project force you to work like a slave, no work life balance, no allowance. 24/7 including holidays work is normal in these projects. Bosses want to meet client's impossible expectation and timeline and employees are the victim. You'll never get out from bad project because they cannot find replacement for you because nobody want to work is bad project. So , you'll stuck there forever. Resign is the only option left. All Avanade Malaysia projects are under Accenture. Avanade management have little to no control over the project because of Accenture's dominant and that's what making the employee suffer.

      Avanade Outside is Great while Avanade HK is Bad

      Pros

      Avanade US provides a lot of support for your skill development such as unlimited Microsoft free exam voucher and training.

      Cons

      Avanade HK is operating as black box. Many people is suffering from unfair bonus such as I got minimum bonus even my appraisal result is top performer. (My contract states my bonus is ranging from 8% to 20%).

      Worst managed company especially after the merge with Infusion.

      Pros

      Good central location, great snacks, good lunch and learn activities.

      Cons

      They hire people and keep them on bench for long periods like 6 months or so without having a job for them. -High turnover rate. -Big gap between Avanade and Infusion employees/management team, still struggling to make it work. -Inexperienced management, lacking leadership skills. -The company lacks any long term vision, just going after clients to sell.
