cool projects, tools, support, benefits, senior support and colleague collaboration in general are much better than other consultancies. Training both on external products and internal processes is generally well managed and useful.
Cons
Bureaucratic application of multitude of controls. Some are totally meaningless. Sales and Delivery alignment is in word only. Project support is thin and when things go a bit south, even less support is shown as people don't want to be associated with bad project. People appear to get fast and sometimes undeserved promotions based on gender. Merger of newer acquisitions did not go well neither for acquired company employees nor for Avanade employees with some acquired company employees getting unrealistically higher role gradings than they are capable of working at.
