      Pros

      Great colleagues, internal consistency (you know where you stand, you know where to get answers you need, etc.), and solid vision with Imagine 2020 plan recently rolled out to company. Filters down to employer branding with more streamlined and consistent messaging in FY16 (started 9/1/2015). Serious commitment to ongoing development, esp. for IT consultants (paid training & Microsoft certifications, etc.)

      Cons

      While Avanade is closely tied to majority owner Accenture and minority owner Microsoft (most MSFT platform technology sales by Accenture leverage Avanade personnel to implement), outside of the sales and technology, the company doesn't piggyback on and adapt best practices of the parent companies to its own operations nearly as much as it should.

      Enjoy Accenture benefits since accenture hold 80% share of Avanade and get latest Microsoft technologies info. You are encourage to take exams to improve your value in company but this is also good to you. A win win solution ~

      Cons

      You will assigned to client side which mean you are outsourcing. For the working,It is depend which client you are working and what technology client want to use. You may still work decent Microsoft technologies or cannot fully enjoy Microsoft technologies while working. Almost all projects are depend on accenture and high turn over rate in company.
