Pros
Throughout my 15 year career, I have had the opportunity to work for some great companies, however nothing has been as exciting, challenging and balanced as its been working for Avanade. This is such a progressive and forward-thinking company that truly puts its employees as the centre of it all. They understand what work-life balance is all about and provide employees opportunities to shape their jobs and career paths. They have amazing benefits, opportunities to work based on schedules that make sense for the rest of your life and are constantly evolving their employee experience. Ideas, tech innovation and constant learning has been wonderful and I can't see why I'd want to work anywhere else.
Cons
The path to promotion isn't as clear in corporate functions as it is within the consulting practices and at times, you can feel stuck from a growth perspective as it relates to progressing to next level.
