- Salaries, especially for internal corporate (non-client facing consulting) roles, are far below market - Recruiters will flat-out lie to you, don't believe anything they tell you about the work, career trajectories and realistic timelines for promo or growth opportunities, assume that the level and salary you negotiate at sign-up is where you'll be for years and annual bonuses/salary increases are microscopic - Line managers are poorly trained and will ding the team for even the most minor of error and employees are rarely recognized even for substantial achievements - e.g., if you ask if it's ok to turn something at noon tomorrow that was originally due today and your manager says, "no problem" - expect to see "misses deadlines" in your review - HR does nothing about the toxic and unprofessional people in the organization - Avanade likes to massively over-engineering every process and corp is filled with people doing busywork in an effort to try to look like they're adding value

Bad leadership, do not really feel connected to other offices/employees For the first 2 years they were not willing to sponsor me through the LMO/LMIA process and then just before my own WH visa expired they agreed, but then they made mistake after mistake which led to me being strung along for 1.5 years and the end result is I will never work for them again.
