      Literally the most toxic place I have ever worked

      You can advance easily by just asking a bunch of obtuse questions at all-hands meetings.

      Cons

      3 Sr leaders or execs for every individual contributor. SUPER top-heavy, with most leaders focused on defending their tiny fiefdom to justify their existence.

      Worst place to work for minorities, diversity in Canada.

      Pros

      1) Access to Accenture trainings 2) Microsoft stack focus

      Cons

      Particularly at Avanade Canada - 1) Director+ roles mostly belong to a certain demographic (90+% white and/or french). Canada wide internal pulse survey results 2022 pointed to the need for ‘Diversity in Leadership roles’. 2) lack of growth avenues for all other demographics in leadership roles in Canada, Regional leadership and HR pay lip service to diversity. 3) Majority of employees laid off in Canada from late 2022 and first quarter 2023 have been from visible minorities 4) Lack of clarity on responsibilities and availability of roles across projects, sub standard sub contracting work for Accenture. Mostly public sector projects and a heavy bench 5) Limited office space for employees

      Severance packages are disgraceful

      Smart technologist A lot of really good people One can find great opportunities on Avanade and Accenture projects Supportive culture of certifications, training, diversity, inclusion

      Cons

      Very weak severance packages... they average 1 week per year of service. Only a week of insurance given and I have a family to care for. Work life balance mostly depends on the project
